This is our first year purchasing Juan Carlos's coffee. This coffee comes to us through Juan Pena's exporting company, Cafexporto. In fact, Juan Carlos's farm Finca Velez sits directly next to Hacienda La Papaya, one of the most infamous farms in Ecuador for high quality coffee. We have been heavily exploring Mejorado this year, so we are truly grateful for the chance to feature this endearing expression from Juan Carlos Velez. Mejorado seeds are derived from Hacienda La Papaya, and processing / drying / milling are done with the oversight of Juan Pena and the Cafexporto team.
